HOA election results - All 2025 board members were re-elected December 9, 2025, to serve another one year term beginning January 1, 2026. There was a total of 49 ballets received. A valid election requires a minimum of 45 members to vote. Of the 49 ballots, 47 were submitted via the provided email link and two were paper ballots. There were no write-ins.

 

The electronic email voting process makes voting fast and easy. We encourage all members to be sure that they have provided the HOA with their current email address. We hope that will help the HOA have an even larger voting turnout in future HOA elections.

 

Unfortunately, this has been a record year for deer and vehicle collisions on Hwy 5, as well as, within our subdivision. 

• To report dead animals for removal on State Hwy 5 - call TXDOT - at 682-229-2800.
• To report dead animals in the subdivision that are laying on the county road/right-a-way, call Parker County Precinct 4 at 817-596-0004 for free removal. 

(All roads in McDavid Estates are county roads.)

• If a deer dies on your property, you can call the Texas Game Wardens for Parker County at 469-797-5192 or 817-596-8814, they can provide you with contact information for “FEE BASED” removal services.

 

We continue to work on getting the HOA fence repaired at the Hwy 5 and E. Bankhead Road intersection. Dealing with one of the insurance companies has proved difficult. But, we will be moving forward with clearing and cleaning up that area as part of our end of year HOA Hwy 5 fence line maintenance. UPDATE: Yet another vehicle has run off the road at this intersection on December 13! At the time of this writing, any additional damage to the fence has yet to be determined.
